A story about The Dead Milkmen
Great guys, funny as hell. Dave Blood and I became good friends. Miss you, Dave.

In the Cat Club, NYC Ian Astbury recognized me from my work in Toronto. Always nice when the celebrity recognizes the average joe. I was impressed.
met at teh PNE Vancouver, then the next day backstage at END FEST Seattle. Nice guys.
I was 18. Trent had not yet released PHM. We were at the New Music Seminar in NYC. His ‘people’ left him at the exit of a club, as did my friend. We did the old glance & nod. He introduced himself, as did I. He asked if I liked his show the night before, I told him I didn’t make it, but asked if HE enjoyed the show. He was caught off guard, but seemed to appreciate the question. “Yes, I did” he said, and we talked for a while after that. Nice guy, a lasting good impression.
He was at a KING 5 booth signing Almost Live photos back when Bill Nye The Science Guy just blew things up on this weekly comedy show in Seattle
